Content Marketing Manager


As a Content Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for the creation and execution of content marketing strategies to increase our brand’s awareness and reach, increase engagement across social media platforms, and drive organic growth and new customer acquisition through SEO.

You will have experience creating and editing both written & visual content, as well as experience ensuring all content production aligns with a brand’s voice and guidelines.

Reporting to the Director of Marketing, this role is highly collaborative as you will work across the entire organization to implement content marketing strategies to help foster the company’s continued growth.

The successful candidate must be equal parts creative and analytical - excelling at critical thinking, storytelling, writing & editing, research, data analysis, and project management. A love for content marketing, writing, and producing measurable results is essential for this role.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute 360° content marketing strategies which encompass social media, on-site content and blog articles, and SEO
  • Manage and improve company blog
  • Produce content to be distributed across social media to increase brand engagement
  • Write or edit/approve content and manage publication of content to be used for SEO to drive new customer acquisition, following SEO best practices to get content to rank for targeted keywords in search results
  • Optimize existing content for SEO to drive web traffic
  • Tell compelling stories while using brand’s voice and tone
  • Identify new tools and opportunities for growth
  • Build & manage content calendar, always planning for future content initiatives
  • Analyze reporting and use analytics to evaluate current efforts and make strategic decisions, while also sharing high-level trends and insights with internal stakeholders
  • Work with internal departments to ensure the effective execution of PR and social media marketing strategies
  • Assist in the launch of new company features and promotions, as well as new brand launches
  • Monitor and stay up-to-date with the latest content marketing trends
  • Evaluate and improve current processes
  • Work with our Email Marketing Manager to produce content to be featured in email campaign


  • Bachelor's degree with a concentration in Marketing, Public Relations, Journalism,
  • Business, or equivalent work experience
  • 2+ years experience in content marketing, PR, and/or digital marketing
  • Strong writing and editing skills, with the ability to adapt your writing style and tone of voice to various audiences (you also know how to modify an existing piece of content to take it to the next level)
  • Skilled researcher (you take the time to perform research and analyze data before planning content marketing campaigns)
  • Highly-organized with the ability to multitask and take on many projects at once
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively across the entire organization with employees at all levels
  • SEO experience, knowing how to get content pages to rank for targeted keywords in search results (nice to have if you’ve worked with SEO tools in the past such as SEMRush, Moz, Google Search Console, etc.)
  • Experience working with Google Analytics and other web analytics tools
  • Prior knowledge of Affiliate Marketing and e-Commerce is an asset
